RadioFrequency Microneedling

Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that combines traditional microneedling with radiofrequency energy.   Radiofrequency is a type of electromagnetic low-energy with applications in medicine (such as aesthetics) to heat up particular depths of the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin formation. 

• Fine needles create tiny punctures in the skin. 
• Radiofrequency energy is delivered through the needles, heating the deeper layers of the skin. 
• This heat stimulates the body's natural healing process, promoting collagen and elastin production.

Sylfirm X treatments are very comfortable.  After we take your photos and clean your skin a layer of numbing cream is applied to the treatment area for 20 or more minutes.  Most patients tell us they experience little to no discomfort.  Maximum discomfort has been expressed as a 2 out of 10 on the pain scale. 

We recommend you start with a series of 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart.  Then to maintain your results a treatment every 4-6 months is ideal. 

After every Sylfirm X Treatment in office we apply a soothing topical agent called Rejuran, which contains a purified form of polynucleotide (PDRN) derived from salmon sperm. PDRN is a naturally occurring substance in the body that plays a role in tissue repair and regeneration.  This helps decrease redness post procedure.  But, it is normal to see redness for 2-3 days post procedure on the treatment area.  You may apply make-up 12 hours post treatment.  Please avoid prolonged sun exposure for 2 weeks post treatment and wear a SPF 30 or greater.  

Within a few days after your treatment you will start to see results.  More noticeable improvements will become more apparent over the next 4-6 weeks, but the real magic occurs over the next few months.

• Optimal results: Optimal results typically take several weeks to appear, with many patients seeing significant improvements after a series of treatments spaced about 4 weeks apart.
