Back by popular demand.  We are now offering IV nutrition back to the practice.  Appointments are 60 minutes and do require an evaluation with Colleen Prince, PA-C.  Please bring a copy of recent lab work with you to your IV appointment.   If you have not had recent labs, we are unable to provide an IV and will provide you with a lab order and reschedule your appointment.

We are excited to offer a revolutionary multi-cancer early detection test at DHW.  It is a single lab draw test recommended once yearly.   Did you know that after the age of 50 the cancer incidence is 13x higher than those under the age of 50?  The Galleri test checks your blood for cell-free DNA from healthy cell and cell-free DNA from cancer cell.  It can detect up to 50+ types of cancer early.

 A CIMT test measures the thickness of the inner layers of your carotid artery. The carotid artery is the artery that transports blood from your heart to your brain. If you have a thickening of your arteries, known as atherosclerosis, you may not have any noticeable symptoms or warning signs. Instead, plaque can silently and slowly build up in your arteries for years without your knowledge. Often the first symptom a person with heart disease experiences is heart attack or sudden death. 

cIMT is the gold standard for determining the health of your heart arteries. 

Twice a year we will be offering an in office cIMT test for anyone.  If you are a medical patient of the practice we will also couple this test with your Cardio IQ yearly labs.   Please call to let us know your interest and we will put your name for the next date, currently TBD.
